Six months have passed since the Cambacérès 3yo Hurdle race (Gr1) and remain before the Renaud du Vivier 4yo Hurdle (Gr1), as the Alain du Breil 4yo Hurdle race (Gr1) is the top Summer contest for the top 4yo hurdlers. Not many winners of this race won again in the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil (French Champion, Gr1), and so testifies the history of the race.
This season, to succeed Feu Follet, who has gone chasing now, Kool Has (Martaline) looks like the best option… Yet it's a tricky race and those generation hasn't delivered a clear selection so far. The 2020 renewal, run in June at Compiegne, could turn out as the best call to date before an Autumn definite verdict.

A brother to two Gr1 winners over the flat, this very consistent jumper made the frame 9 times out of ten over hurdles. He finished 3rd in the d'Indy 4yo Hurdle race (Gr3) for his come back 9 lengths behind Moises Has, and led the Amadou 4yo HUrdle race (Gr2) but faded in the end, terminant quatrième à cinq longueurs de Moises Has.

He won a claimer over the hurdles at Nantes last November for his return over jumps. Twice placed this winter in Pau, he fell once, and again for his debut at Auteuil at the last hurdle when nothing was over for him. He was then beaten by seven lengths in a handicap by James du Berlais, who was giving him 8lbs, and lately by the same opponent by about as much.

Impressive winner of a handicap lately, he tries his luck against the best with a lot of experience.

A safe winner of the Amadou 4yo Hurdle Race (Gr2) for his comeback, he looks like the obvious favourite in this, 7 months after his 2nd place in the Cambacérès 3yo Hurdle race (Gr1), beating For Fun.

Rated 87lbs, he's won his three hurdle races to date at à Fontainebleau, Toulouse and Dieppe in a Listed Hurdle race he simply dominated. He's going up the ladder but who knows chat he's up too?.
