Enable, the 2017 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner, is back in full training

2017 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (Gr1) winner Enable (Nathaniel), sidelined since May following a knee injury which prevented her from reappearing in the Coronation Cup (Gr1) at Epsom in June, is back in full training again. After putting the filly through her paces during the last few days at the Warren Hill training gallop at Newmarket, trainer John Gosden said: «Enable is pleased to be out of her box and she has been working at Warren Hill. If everything goes well, we will give her a race before having a second crack at the Arc. However, it’s too early to say what race that will be. «

Enable is entered at the Juddmonte International Stakes (Gr1) at York on August 22 as well as the Darley Yorkshire Oaks (Gr1) at the same track the following day. She has also been nominated for the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes (Gr1), at Leopardstown on September 15. Similarly, her entourage hasn’t ruled out either a crack at the Qatar Prix Vermeille (Gr1).

The majority of bookmakers have installed Enable as favourite for the forthcoming Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (Gr1) following the defeat of her stablemate Cracksman (Frankel) in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes (Gr1). She has been variously quoted at odds from 9-2 to 11-2.
