On Saturday, September 26, Paris and its immediate suburbs were placed into the Reinforced Alert Zone (ZAR), which requires us to limit the attendance at race meetings at ParisLongchamp, Auteuil and Saint-Cloud to 1,000 people. This list will be updated in coordination with the Police Prefecture.

Complying with the reduced capacity requires several adjustments.

  • Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend at ParisLongchamp on 3 and 4 October

France Galop will give priority access to connections of starters at each meeting of the weekend. Owners will be able to enjoy and share the emotions of this exceptional meeting with friends or family thanks to a quota of 6 badges.

In terms of starters, each horse can be accompanied by a maximum of 2 people who must be registered two days before the day of the race at hebergementlongchamp@france-galop.com. They must also provide a declaration stating that they have no Covid-19 symptoms.

Racing professionals who have bought tickets will be automatically reimbursed. If you have any questions, contact: relationsmembres@france-galop.com

Also, to ensure that racing fans all over the world can enjoy the Qatar Prix de l’Arc, which will be broadcast in more than 50 countries, media will be given access to the racecourse. In addition, the Arc At Home experience in French and English will be available on the different France Galop social media sites.

  • Information regarding meetings at other France Galop managed Parisian racecourses

As long as attendance restrictions remain in place, the ParisLongchamp, Auteuil and Saint-Cloud racecourses will be closed to the general public and access will be reserved for racing professionals (France Galop members) and PMU staff, within the limit of 1,000 people per meeting. This measure is in place from Saturday, September 26 at Auteuil and could be extended to the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris weekend.

  • Chantilly and Deauville racecourses

The Chantilly racecourse (in the Oise region) and the Deauville track (in Normandy) are currently not affected by the 1,000 people restriction. However, planned spectator events have been cancelled.

We will get back to you as soon as new information will become available
