Going update at Chantilly on Friday, June 1.
The ground at Chantilly, as of 10am this morning, was officially described as soft or 3.7 on the penetrometer scale after the course absorbed 14mm of overnight (Thursday) rain. If the weather remains dry until Sunday, the forecast is for a penetrometer reading of 3.4 on Sunday for the Qipco Prix du Jockey Club.
