August 3, 2021, Deauville-La Touques Racecourse (Calvados). - 5th for her first Listed trial in the Prix La Flèche (L), Have a Good Day (Adaay) took convincing revenge over the Darley Prix de Cabourg (Gr3) 6 furlongs. Trained by Florian Guyader for Theresa Marnane, the winner was ridden by Christophe Soumillon for the first time, who travelled near the leaders from the start onwards. Two furlongs out though, she looked outclassed by Trident (Wootton Bassett), who came fast in 10’’79 (best furlong of the whole race), but the last 100 yards took their toll on the conqueror, who finally gave way to the tough Have a Good Day and a fast closing Dizzy Bizu (Caravaggio). The latter took 11’’33 in the last furlong while the winner was timed in 11’’44. She had beaten Have a Good Day in the Prix La Flèche.

Have A Good Day was in the Goffs online yearlings sale last November but she was finally withdrawn. Her dam is the Frenchbred Black Meyeden (Black Minnaloushe), who ran and failed twice but is from the family of Zaizafon, dam of Zafonic (Two Thousand Guineas) and Zamindar (Prix Morny 2nd).
