Last year winner of the Congress 3yo Chase (Gr2), regarded as the 3-year-olds' "Grand Steeple", Dream Wish (Dream Well) returns to Auteuil on Saturday, in the Duc d'Anjou 4yo Chase (Gr3). This is the first stage in a program that will gather the best 4-year-old chasers to the Ferdinand Dufaure Chase (Gr1), on May 17. The next steps in the meantime are the Fleuret Chase  (Gr3), on March 29, and the Jean Stern Chase (Gr2), on April 19.

Bred by Antonia Devin and trained by Dominique Bressou for the Papot family, Dream Wish will face five opponents, including the Congress second Al Cuarto (Nicaron), third Road Senam (Saint des Saints) and fifth King Edward (Martaline). He will meet for the first time Groom Boy (Tiger Groom), recent second in the Antoine de Palaminy Chase (L) in Pau, and Polisud (Lord du Sud), second at the end of last year in the Petit Bob Chase won by the very talented Want of a Nail.

A remarkable cast is also reunited at the start of the Hubert d'Aillières Hurdle race (L), with Bipolaire (Fragrant Mix), Carriacou (Califet) and Crystal Beach (Network), three of the top five chasers of 2019 in France, including two Gold Cup winners!

Another "Grand Steeple" winner will also start on Saturday at Auteuil but on the Tofano Chase, the second step of On The Go (Kamsin)'s road to recovery. The 2018 winner of the Grand Steeple has just won for his come back over hurdles at Fontainebleau…
