Saturday, April 29, 2023, Auteuil Racecourse (Paris). - With St Donats (Saint des Saints) out, Losange Bleu (Martaline) took advantage of the opportunity to win the €174,000 Amadou 4yo Hurdle (Gr2), like his stablemate Hermès Baie (Crillon) before him. Fast ahead of this diminutive field, the horse trained by Dominique Bressou accelerated on his own, jumping the last hurdle with plenty in hand and already away from the rest. A mere formality for Jeremy Da Silva's partner before the Prix Alain du Breil 4yo Hurdle (Gr1) on May 21st.

In the rear, four lengths back, Authoryty Seven (Authorized) finished very well but once again settled for a place, preceding Jonca de Thaix (Cokoriko), who does not disappoint in his first steps at this level.

Losange Bleu was homebred by Mrs. Patrick Papot. His dam Sweet Valrose (Cadoudal) was placed over hurdles twice, at Enghien and Auteuil, at 3, under the colours of Vicenzo Esposito. She then gave several winners before being secured by the Papot family, Losange Vert (Montmartre) being her first foal for the new connections, and a winner of the Prix Duc d'Anjou 4yo Chase (Gr3). After Losange Bleu, she gave Je Rêve en Vert (Night Wish), now 3.
