Sunday, June 9, 2024, ParisLongchamp Racecourse (Paris). - Assisted by a pacemaker, Lazym (Kodiac), who led from the start of the €80,000 Prix Paul de Moussac (Gr3), the favourite Lazzat (Territories) travelled in third position with Roshvar (Siyouni) on his inside. He took the lead at the entrance of the straight and held off a strong challenge from Havana Cigar (Havana Grey), who had to wait for a gap before making a late surge along the rail over the Nouvelle Piste's 7 furlongs strip.

Second favourite, Sajir (Make Believe), was not a threat two lengths behind and had to settle for third place.

It was a convincing victory for Lazzat, who remains unbeaten in five starts despite carrying an extra kilo here.

Bred by Sumbe, the stud farm of his owner Nurlan Bizakov, Lazzat was unable to participate in the Emirates Poule d'Essai des Poulains (Gr1) as he is a gelding. Castrated last September, he made his debut with a win at Cagnes-sur-Mer in January, followed by another win in February, before claiming the Prix de la Californie (L), also on turf, and the Prix Djebel (Gr3) for his Parisian debut two months before this.

He is the first foal out of an Australian mare who raced and won once for Nurlan Bizakov, also her breeder, in England. The mare is a sibling to the classic winner Sleepytime (Royal Academy).

A filly by Golden Horde was born in 2023.
