Sunday, June 2, 2024, Chantilly Racecourse (Oise). – One of the two Gr3 performers in the field of the €80,000 Prix de Royaumont (Gr3), a race for 3-year-old fillies over 1m2f, Aventure (Sea the Stars) started as the race's favourite; She mede her point in the most emphatic way for her classic distance debut: the Wertheimer & Frère homebred surged ahead in the last three hundred metres after biding her time at the back. She won effortlessly by seven lengths, leaving a valiant Vigatata (Sea the Moon) to fend off the winner's stablemate, Mosaïque (Dubawi), who had to navigate through traffic from further back.

Aventure won on her debut in the Prix de Toutevoie in September at Chantilly, ahead of Siyandra (Medaglia d’Oro), who finished seventh in this Prix de Royaumont. She then secured second place in the Prix des Réservoirs (Gr3) and the Prix de la Seine (L) on her return this year, and now claims her first title in brilliant fashion. She was entered in the Emirates Poule d’Essai, the St Mark’s Basilica Coolmore Saint-Alary, and she still is in the Diane Longines and the Qatar Arc de Triomphe.

The winner is the tenth foal out of the talented Balladeuse (Singspiel), winner of the Prix de Royallieu (Gr2), and the dam of the classic-winning Left Hand (Dubawi), who claimed the Prix Vermeille (Gr1) after finishing second in the Prix de Diane (Gr1). Her sister Nohand (Dansili), also a full sister to the notable Romancière, was sold for €500,000 in foal to Camelot at the 2022 Arqana breeding stock sales, purchased by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock.

Balladeuse is out of the excellent mare Featherquest (Rainbow Quest), who notably produced Plumania (Anabaa). Aventure has a 2-year-old full brother and a yearling sister by Night of Thunder.
