Sunday, November 28, 2021, Auteuil Racecourse (Paris). - Srelighonn (Martaline) was running his second race only when he unseated his rider at the rail-ditch-and-fence in the La Haye Jousselin Chase (Gr1). Back at Auteuil three weeks later, he settled his account in style over the Georges Courtois Chase (Gr2) 2m6f trip. Trained by François Nicolle for  Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, he had already won that race in 2018, and also the  Ferdinand Dufaure 4yo Chase (Gr1) before that.

He took the lead going to jump the rail-ditch, this time, and jumped it well in front of Dream Wish (Dream Well), Darling des Bordes (Balko) and Glorice (Network), then went on on his own and finally won by 18 lengths. Dream Wish, who had trailed him, couldn't keep a place on the podium as Glorice took second place in front of Pacha Senam (Marked Marvel).

Srelighonn is an Auteuil regular feature at the top since a young age. Bred by Écurie Pégase and Sabine Mottier, he's out of an André Michel Mares Hurdle (Gr3) winner, Eliga (Turgeon), who gave 8 foals including Trheliga (Martaline), a winner over hurdles and fences at Auteuil. She recently gave a filly and a colt by Doctor Dino in 2019 and 2021. Srelighonn was sold for € 55,000 to his trainer at the 2015 Summer Sale at Deauville. His full sister Srheliga was recently awarded to BLM Bloodstock (Bertrand Le Métayer) for €82,000 at the last Arqana Autumn sale.
