In this Grand Prix de Chantilly (Gr2), the obvious next step for such class horses, In Swoop was most threatened by a slow pace with only 5 rivals, as the awkward Influx (Golden Horn) was leading at a very slow pace, even by French standards. However, Olivier Peslier decided it was time to make a move about 5 furlongs from home, as he came by outside to prevent any unfortunate hiccup. relying on his mount's soundness, he pushed him ahead and the horse responded well, holding back a nice Vaucelles (Le Havre), and then his old foe Sublimis, who had come by the rail and tried to sneak inside but was also beaten half a length in second, a neck ahead of Vaucelles.

In Swoop is the 8th foal out of Iota (Tiger Hill), a German Oaks (Gr1) winner in 2005, also the dam of Ito (Adlerflug), a Group 1 winner in his home Germany.
