The green and blue silks of the Papot family lead the French jumps scene since 2012. Before that, it had already won two titles, in 2009 and in 2010, but in 2020 it is crowned champion owner for the ninth consecutive year. For this, the Papots ran 83 horses last year - including the champion hurdler Galop Marin, triple winner of the Grand Prix d'Automne Hurdle race (Gr1) -, who took 268 starts and won 49 races for nearly €1.8m.

Nicolas de Lageneste's Haras de Saint-Voir comes in second with 77 horses having won 50 races and almost €1.4m. Magalen Bryant follows with 34 wins and € 937,505 in earnings. The American owner is on the podium for the fifteenth time since 2000.

Then comes the champion trainer François Nicolle in his role as owner with 106 horses, of which he often only holds shares, like Palmyr Racing (Guillaume Macaire's stable), and the sixth-placed Yannick Fouin. A fourth trainer is in the top 12, namely Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé.

We also note that the English owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, who share in two a single string of 57 horses, for 29 wins, each won more than € 650,000, or more than € 1.3 million combined. They are associated 50/50 on all their runners. However, since they run under Simon Munir's colours, and not that of their association, their combined earnings are not taken into account in this ranking.

Remember that it is enough to own 10% of a horse for it to be counted as an asset. This explains the large number of horses registered as owned by their trainers here, as they usually own some of the many horses in their care.
