An easy win for Spinning Memories (Arcano) over the Prix de Meautry Barrière (Gr3)'s 6 furlongs-trip on Sunday at Deauville. Trained by Pascal Bary, she followed the front-running Big Brothers Pride (Invincible Spirit), who gave way pretty soon, and went away to score by 3,5 lengths, three weeks after her LARC Prix Maurice de Gheest (Gr1) 4th place over 1,300m.

Always in the leading group, Stake Acclaim (Acclamation) beats Tertius (Siyouni) and Poetry (Kingman) for the second place.

It was the winner's 5th race so far this season, her 8th altogether, and a first on such a short distance. This test will probably help her connections to figure out an International campaign in the end of the season, as Spinning Memories belongs to Hong Kong-based owner Sutong Pan.

Spinning Memories was bred in Ireland by Mubarak Al Naemi, though.

Her two first dams were unraced but her third dam, Memories of Silver (Silver Hawk) is an American Gr1 winner, and the dam of several Group winners, including a Gr1 3yo filly.
