In the last meeting held at Maisons-Laffitte, the Prix de Seine-et-Oise (Gr3) gathered 15 runners over the straight six-furlong course. Winner of the race in 2016 and 2017, then 2nd last year, The Right Man (Lope de Vega) wasn't able to regain his title, fading already when hampered about two out. 3yo gelding Trois Mille (Evasive), on the other hand, proved the strongest as he repelled the British raider Angel Alexander (Dark Angel), after both had led their own side of the field. Trois Mille was winning his 6th race of the year, having won twice in claimers early in the season, changind hand the second time, when a winner over this course and distance, for a mere € 19,888. Since his arrival at the Deauville yard of Stéphane Cerulis, Trois Mille won four times, climbing the scales by a stone before even this first Group win...

He had made € 3,000 € ("Trois mille" euro in French, of course!) at the Arqana October sale in 2017, when picked up by trainer Keven Borgel.

His dam Indian Beauty (Mujadil) is a Listed winner on AWT at Deauville.
