It is an intriguing and open field that gathers in this 2020 edition of the Prix de Psyché Sky Sports Racing (Gr3), a classic of the opening of the Deauville Barrière meeting scheduled on Saturday. A lot is expected from Raabihah (Sea The Stars), very good fourth in a Prix de Diane Longines (French oaks, Gr1), a race already highlighted by a new success of its winner, Fancy Blue, in the Nassau at Goodwood. But the Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum homebred filly will have a lot to do with two formidable English raiders, although showing different profiles, and French fillies able to further progress. We obviously have the Darley Prix Romanet (Gr1) and the Prix de l'Opéra Longines (Gr1) in mind for these contenders ...

  • 1. RAABIHAH (f3, USA by Sea the Stars and Garmoosha, by Kingmambo) Rating: 112lbs

Trained in Deauville, bred by her owner, she easily won her first two races and finished fourth in the Prix de Diane Longines (Gr1) just half a length behind Fancy Blue, who has since won the Nassau Stakes against the best European fillies and mares.

  • 2. CHORBA (f3, FRA by Olympic Glory and Ysandre, by Zamindar) Rating: 98lbs

Trained in Deauville, bred by her owner, she won well for her debut over 9.5 furlongs in December on the Deauville all-weather. Fourth for her comeback over one mile, then outpaced and fourth again over the same distance in a very tough Listed, she recently won at Compiègne over the distance of this race.

  • 3. ALKANDORA (f3, GB by Nathaniel and Poplin, by Medicean) Rating: 99lbs

Trained at Chantilly, bought for £ 85,000 at the Newmarket yearling sales, she was narrowly beaten on her debut at 2 on heavy ground at ParisLongchamp. Second-placed for her comeback behind a well-regarded filly, she just won by a small margin over 10.5 furlongs even though she'd looked well in hand a few yards earlier.

  • 4. ARRIVISTE (f3, GB by Sea the Moon and Apparatchika, by Archipenko) Rating: 86lbs

Trained in England, bred by her owner, she raced three times at 2, showing progress on each outing to win on her third attempt, over the all-weather. She has just finished a good second to a filly who has won again since then, and they had left the field well behind that day ...

  • 5. RUN WILD (f3, GER by Amaron and Rondinay, by Cadeaux Genereux) Rating: 107lbs

Trained in England, bought for € 160,000 at the Baden-Baden yearling sales, she won her third outing, on the all-weather, at 2, then took a good fourth place in a Group 2 over one mile at Doncaster before finishing second in the Prix des Reservoirs (Gr3) at Deauville on heavy ground. She finished her first season with a third place in a Listed race also run on heavy ground at Newmarket. An easy winner of another Listed for her return, over 10 furlongs at Newmarket, she finished seventh and last in the Coronation Stakes (Gr1) and returns with lower claims.

  • 6. EUCLIDIA (f3, FRA by Maxios and Mathematicienne, by Galileo) Rating: 95lbs

Trained in La Teste-de-Buch, bred by her owners, she won for her debut in March at Toulouse on very soft ground. She then led up to a hundred yards from the post in the Prix Caravelle - Haras des Granges (L), again in Toulouse, and finished 3rd out of four in the Derby du Languedoc (L), over 1m4f last time out.

  • 7. WANGARI (f3, GER by Soldier Hollow and Wamika, by Shirocco) Rating: 106lbs

Trained at Chantilly, bought for € 43,000 at the Baden-Baden yearling sales, she won very easily at 2 just after her debut. Beaten a head by the future winner of the Prix Saint-Alary (Gr1) after that, she then won over 9 furlongs in a Listed race run at Chantilly, when given a shrewd ride to beat a well-regarded filly who's won since.
