A SOPHISTICATED CULINARY OFFER BY CHEF THIERRY MARX AND SHOW COOKING FOR THE 100th RENEWAL OF THE QATAR PRIX DE L'ARC DE TRIOMPHE

The 100th renewal of the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, which takes place over the weekend of 2 and 3 October at the ParisLongchamp racecourse, is the most eagerly awaited event in the flat racing calendar. The world's greatest race will be broadcast live in 60 countries. To mark the occasion, France Galop and its partner Paris Society have designed a catering offer that will meet the different desires of the French and international fans gathered in the ParisLongchamp Stand.

For gourmets: A prestige menu at the Panorama restaurant by Thierry Marx

For this year’s Arc, Michelin-starred chef Thierry Marx will prepare an exceptional menu at the Panorama restaurant located on the top floor of the ParisLongchamp stand, which extends onto an incredible rooftop terrace with full views of the racecourse. Thierry Marx, a French and internationally renowned chef, already designed the menu at the Panorama restaurant for the 2019 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Born in Paris, Thierry Marx is one of the best-known chefs of his generation. He joined the Compagnons du Tour de France and trained with the best French chefs, including Claude Deligne, Joël Robuchon and Alain Chapel. Following two years in the army, he left France and travelled to Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Japan to refine his cooking style. Upon his return in 1988 he was awarded his first Michelin star at Roc en Val in Tours and received another one in 1991 at Cheval Blanc in Nîmes. Following ten years in the Médoc at the Relais & Châteaux Cordeillan-Bages where he held two Michelin Stars in 1999, he joined the new Mandarin Oriental Palace in Paris where he was awarded two Michelin Stars for his gastronomic venture "Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx". That same year, he became a public figure thanks to his role as a judge on the television show Top Chef, a role he embraced for five years.
