Quincey Barrière : Milers on their way back

Three horses pretty much share the best ratings in the Prix Quincey Barrière (Gr3), a mile race for aged horses which is also the last Group race of the meeting. 4-year-old filly Crown Walk (Dubawi), rated 107lbs at the moment, worth better -109lbs, actually- but she hasn't had run since March. She finished 2nd in last year's Prix Rothschild (Gr1) though… Stunning Spirit (Invincible Spirit) is rated at the same level and was also worth better last season but he seems to run below par lately.

Tornibush (Dream Ahead) has already won a Gr3 and since it was after Sept. 1st, he's got a 4lbs penalty. From Germany, Joplin (Soldier Hollow) ran well in 4th in the Prix Rothschild (Gr1), four weeks ago. From Switzerland, where she won recently, Auenperle (Areion) arrived in Bernard Goudot's yard recently. She won the Prix Perth (Gr3) last year and would be very well placed here was she to repeat that kind of form. Trained near Marseilles, Skaletti (Kendargent) won his last 4 races including the Prix Jacques de Brémond (L) mile at Vichy.

Style Presa (Style Vendome) ran well when 4th in the Prix Messidor (Gr3) lately after a Listed win in Milan.
