September 25, 2021, Auteuil Racecourse (Paris). - Once again, after Matilda du Berlais' defeat in the Haras d’Étreham Chambly, the favourite of the Robert Lejeune 3yo Colts & geldings Hurdle (Gr3) Paradiso (Kapgarde), unbeaten in three races before, was defeated in finished 3rd. His stablemate at David Cottin's, Sans Bruit (Triple Threat), who runs with a hood, led all the way and took off again after the last hurdle to score 12 lengths ahead of Ain’t Got Wings (Martaline), who beat Paradiso by 2 lengths for the second place. The winner races for Louis Baudron, also his breeder. It was his 3rd victory in six outings, five over hurdles. Last time out in June, he had won the Rocking Chair Hurdle at Auteuil.

Sans bruit is the second foal out of Swedish Dancer (Teofilo), a sister to a Listed-placed in South Africa, herself a winner of two races in Sweden. Her 2nd dam in the French mare Loon, a Listed winner who foaled Golden Apples, three times a Gr1 winner in the USA.

According to the official sectional timing, Sans Bruit ran the last kilometre in 1’11’’24, an outstanding time. No other runner of the two Gr3 races on the distance today went in less than 1'12'' a kilometre.
