Saturday, August 1, 2020, Deauville. - The Prix Six Perfections Sky Sports Racing (Gr3) is a tribute to the Niarchos homebred filly born in 2000 and the winner, among others, of the Prix Marcel Boussac (Gr1), the Prix Jacques Le Marois (Gr1) and the Breeders'Cup Mile (Gr1).

This year, the favourite See the Rose (Kendargent) took over from Elusive Kate, winner in 2011 and then winner of two consecutive editions of the Prix Rothschild (Gr1). Owned by Sean Mulryan, Linda Shanahan and Sue Magnier, and trained by André Fabre, the bay filly dominated the English raider and frontrunner Wedding Dance (Invincible Spirit) in the last furlong to score by nearly a length, Cœursamba (The Wow Signal) finishing well in third place, only beaten a neck.

Bought € 180,000 at the Deauville yearling sales, she won by a whisker as the favourite for her debut at Chantilly, and over 5.5 furlongs. Also favourite for her second outing, she dominated more easily in a well-composed field at Deauville over 6 furlongs and was extended again by an extra furlong. She is out of Listed-placed Xaarienne (Xaar), also dam of Xaarino (Kendargent), winner of the Prix François Boutin (L) in Deauville. She was bred in Ireland by John O’Connor of Ballylinch Stud.

Xaarienne was sold full of See the Rose for € 85,000 at the Arqana breeding sales in 2017.
