October 22, Saint-Cloud Racecourse (Hauts-de-Seine). The €250,000 Critérium de Saint-Cloud (Gr1), run over ten furlongs, went to Foreign runners for the third consecutive time as mark and Charlie Johnston's Dubai Mile (Roaring Lion) won, two years after his stablemate Gear Up (Teofilo) in 2020.

Dubai Mile led the way and was challenged only in the final bend, where he lost the lead to Arrest (Frankel), whom he finally caught up at the wire with Daniel Muscutt, winning by a head with Adelaide River (Australia) third at 6 lengths.

Bred by Ecurie Skymarc Farm, Dubai Mile is by Roaring Lion (Kitten's Joy), who only sired one generation. The colt was bought for €20,000 at Goffs in 2021. His dam Beach Bunny (High Chaparral) is a Listed-winner and a Gr1-placed mare whose second dam, Miss Tahiti, won the Marcel Boussac (Gr1) at 2 and was placed the following season in the Diane, Saint-Alary and Vermeille, the French fillies' triple crown.
