From sole ownership (owning your racing colours) to joint ownership (partnership and Racing Club), all the information you need to become a racehorse owner is highlighted so that everyone can find the type of ownership that best suits their project.
A focus on the Racing Club
As the “Racing Club” formula (shared ownership) is very popular with potential owners, the new page focuses primarily on this type of ownership. It offers information on existing Racing Clubs and explains the procedure for creating your own Racing Club.

Online approval procedure explained step by step
Another section deals with recurrent questions from potential owners regarding the online approval procedure by detailing the five steps to follow in order to obtain the necessary approval, both for an individual and for a legal entity.
To start the procedure, all you need to do is create your own account and fill in the online forms. Once the forms are validated, they will be processed by the relevant France Galop department.
Please note that all the forms are available in French and English.
A new section with all the other information
A frequently Asked Question (FAQ) has been created for trainers, breeders, bloodstock agents or other professionals in the industry who quickly need the information to answer enquiries from existing or potential owners wishing to know how to proceed and what costs are involved in the process. This tab will be expanded in the following weeks.
